Want To Protect Your Child? Join The Measles Vaccination Campaign


Measles is a contagious viral infection which begins with fever and skin rash but can result in complications as severe as blindness and pneumonia. According to WHO, of the total 134,000 annual deaths due to measles, one third are known to claim lives in India.  The measles vaccination campaign is to immunize kids against this deadly infection. The vaccination for measles is typically administered to kids between the ages of 9 months to 15 years. This campaign which will function in six states of India, would be held in two phases where in, the first phase would immunize 40 million children and the second phase would help 410 million children to battle measles (March 2019).
